The spider plant is quite resistant to drought and does not die if you sometimes forget to water it. Drought stimulates the production of more shoots and runners. The plant should be sprayed with water, which is also enough to remove dust from the leaves. It can be grown in an apartment for a very long time, but too old specimens become unsightly and it is better to renew the plant every 3-4 years. It reproduces easily by rooting young plants that appear on hanging shoots.

Roślina jest wytrzymała na warunki mieszkaniowe. W mieszkaniu może rosnąć w miejscu zacienionym, ale w miejscu dobrze oświetlonym jest bardziej atrakcyjna, gdyż jej białe paski są wówczas wyraźniejsze i szersze.
